Starter Packages

 

Here at Heidi's Happy Hens we stock a large range of Chicken Houses / Coops / Runs / to suit everyone's needs. If you are new to keeping hens we have full starter packs that include EVERYTHING you need including the hens. Or if like us you already have a flock of chooks but need a bigger house because you want more we sell the houses individually. Someone once told me chickens are like pringles "once you start you just cant stop".

We keep many of our houses in stock and have a range on display so you can have a good look at them. But please be careful when opening doors as most of the time these display houses have our holiday hens in them. Remember we are the ONLY company who look after your girls FREE OF CHARGE when you go away.

You can either pick up the coops up from us or you can get them delivered direct to you door for only an additional £15.00. If we don't have the coop of your choice in stock then don't worry it only takes between 24 - 48 hours to be delivered. If the coop is ordered before 3pm then you will get it the very next day.

Option One.

Small Coop with built in run (1980 x 755 x 1032mm)

This is a very neat and compact chicken coop. The raised sleeping area is off the ground, keeping it well away from vermin and also the damp. Very easy to clean out and includes an easy clean tray. Its manufactured using the latest technology to ensure a easy and precise build. Its pressure treated with a water based preservative to withstand the UK Weather.

This will sleep 2 - 4 hens but if you are not giving your girls additional outside space then please don't put anymore than 2 hens in this.

Large Coop with built in run (2250 x 800 x 1240 mm)

This is the larger version to the above coop. It is suitable for up to six hens however as above if you are not giving your hens any extra space than we believe that four hens is the max you would want to keep in this.

Option Three.

Classic Chicken house and Run

This is a versatile and stylish Chicken Coop that will compliment any garden it has a 3 bay nesting box with lift able lid. The front has 2 locking sliding front access doors and comes complete with removable ramp and 2 perches. It includes a removable metal floor tray for easy cleaning and ventilation slots in the gable with a large lockable rear door

This house is recommended to house up to 6 hens.

Option Four.

Medium Chicken house and Run (Height 1050 mm x overall length 1900 mm x Width 800mm)

This is a great Universal coop with the option to extend the runs. It incorporates a large drop down front panel and fully liftable roof section. With its easy clean Steel Tray this makes it one of the easiest to clean model. It has a raised sleeping area. It comes with roof and rear ventilation points. It has a sliding door with an outside handle and a side nesting box with liftable lid. Its fully pressure treated with a water based product to withstand the UK Weather lid.

The Medium has a two bay nesting box and will sleep upto four hens and don't forget you can give your girls extra space by adding an one metre run extension to this.

The Extra Large option has a four bay nesting box and will sleep upto eight hens and don't forget you can give your girls extra space by adding an one metre run extension to this.

Option Seven.

Large Deluxe Chicken Coop (Coop 1780mm x 1090mm x 1070mm RUN 1800mm x 1280mm x 580mm)*


This house can sleep upto 13 large birds or 20 smaller ones. It has 10 internal perches and a side nest box with lockable stay arm. The whole right side is removable for easy access and cleaning. It has a grilled ventilation window to the rear. The run has a large hinged top door for for easy access and includes a ramp. Its manufactured using the latest technology to ensure a easy and precise build. No nails only tenon joints, glues and screws. It has been fully pressure treated with water based preservative to withstand the UK weather.

Although the house can easily sleep up to 13 large hens you would need to extend this run, This house is really popular with people wanting to keep 8 or more hens. What alot of customers do is buy this house without its run and build an enclosure around it. Or use it on its own and let the hens have free range.

Option Eight.

Large Chicken Coop / Run

Huge Poultry House and Run. This unit is very large at 9 feet x 6 feet externally approx House and Run is 8 feet x 4 1/2 feet approx, it has a raised house for easy waist height access. Pull out cleaning trays, Vents, Perches, Nesting areas, Rear Door, Door on run part. Heavy duty mineral felt roof.

Please note this is not a walk in run you do have to duck down a little bit. This is ideal for 4 - 6 hens.
