POL Blacktail £15.00

She is a beautiful brown hen with striking black tail feathers, she is crossed with the Rhode Island Red so it makes her a fantastic egg layer who can lay upto 340 eggs in her first year. She makes amazing addition to any flock as she so calm natured.

POL Amber  £15.00

They are either a plain creamy white bird or they have various shades of amber markings.  A real family favourite as they have such a sweet nature.  Truly beautiful and she will lay around 300 eggs in her first year.  She is a great hen for people with children.

POL Copper Black  £15.00

A copper black maran based hybrid producing around 300 eggs in her first year. A large percentage of these eggs are very dark brown. My personal favourite I love how their black feathers shine green / purple in the sunshine these hens are truly gorgeous.

A stunning large blue hybrid, a real favourite with lots of customers including my mum! She has a really loving nature and will lay about 280 creamy brown eggs in her first year.

POL Snowflake £15.00

A real little character and will lay approx 300 pure white eggs in her first year. She was once described to me as a petite little ballerina. She maybe the smallest hybrid here but can be one of the quickest and you will not believe the size of her eggs.  Huge!!

POL Coucou  £15.00

A stunning looking French maran based hybrid, she is beautiful to touch and Williams favourite hen. Someone told me they think that they feel like silk velvet. She will lay approx 280 eggs in her first year.  Again a lovely calm bird to have in your flock.

POL Pied  £15.00

We call these our Newcastle hens due to their black and white colours. These are Danny’s favourites we have two in are own flock these are named after Newcastle players. She will lay approx 280 eggs in her first year.

POL Light Sussex £15.00

This is the hybrid version of the Pure Breed Light Sussex.  They are excellent layers of light brown eggs and will lay around 280 eggs in their first year.  They are very easy to tame and adapt well to their surroundings, a beautiful girl to add to any flock.

POL Crested  £25.00

Bred from the cream crested Legbar and is still being developed as a blue egg layer. The breeding programme, involves the use of traditional British bloodlines gives a varied coloured bird from cream or tan through to blue and grey. A good sized bird, with 80% laying a blue/green, medium to large egg, the remainder lay a range of pastel shades. She will lay around 280 eggs in her first year.
